Altcoins Shows Buy Signals, Massive Opportunity Beckons: Analyst

As the price of Bitcoin (BTC) continues to demonstrate a major fall in valuation, indicating a gloomy attitude toward the crypto asset, the bulls in the market are hopeful that the market will soon enter another Season for Altcoins.

Altcoins Showing Massive Buying Opportunity

Bitcoin’s recent dip signaled the beginning of the decline in the cryptocurrency market, causing several altcoins to drop significantly. However, many cryptocurrency analysts believe that the drop in these altcoin prices might serve as an opportunity for future gains since the alt-season is on the horizon.

Popular cryptocurrency expert and trader Michael Van De Poppe has revealed his optimism in the altcoin market, highlighting the significant opportunities of getting into these tokens before the alt-season begins.

According to Michael Van De Poppe, “some altcoins have now dropped by over 40%” in comparison to their past all-time high. As a result, Poppe believes that this is the right time for investors to purchase these digital assets to position themselves for future gains.

Poppe noted he normally invests in these tokens “during bull cycles when they are about 25% to 60% less expensive.” This demonstrates the crypto expert’s confidence in the assets to rally in the coming months.

While pointing out the massive opportunities in the market, Poppe has underscored Arbitrum (ARB) as one of the altcoins investors should watch out for. He believes that ARB could realize substantial gains in time, as the token is down and poised for a new leg UP.

Recently, there have been notable advancements in the crypto asset’s price, demonstrating momentum for an upward movement. As of the time of writing, ARB was trading at $1.70, indicating an over 10% increase in the daily timeframe.

However, in the weekly and monthly timeframe, ARB is down by 22% and 15%, respectively. Meanwhile, Arbitrum’s market capitalization has increased by roughly 10% to exceed the $4.5 billion threshold.

Top ALTs To Purchase After Bitcoin’s Retracement

On-chain analyticS platform Santiment has also highlighted the drop in altcoins as a shot to garner profits in the upcoming months. Santiment pointed out several altcoins that offer a “possible bullish opportunity,” following Bitcoin’s crash today to a two-week low of $61,700.

Some of the tokens listed by Santiment are BOUNCE, LDO, OMG, STORJ, and SNX. The MVRV Opportunity and Danger Zone Model, according to Santiment, shows that many altcoins have now declined to the point where mid-term trading returns are in an “opportunity zone.” However, when an asset’s 30-day, 90-day, and 365-day average wallet returns add up to be negative, “this zone is breached.”

Even with the recent general correction, the altcoins market appears to be headed toward a favorable long-term picture. Consequently, this presents an excellent chance for investors to purchase these digital assets at a reduced cost.

Storj (STORJ) Wyckoff Analysis (11 to 20 Dec 2023)

Wyckoff Analysis (WA) aims to understand why prices of stocks and other market items move due to supply and demand dynamics. It typically is applied to any freely traded market where larger or institutional traders operate (commodities, bonds, currencies, etc.). In this article we will apply WA to the cryptocurrency Storj ($STORJ) to make a forecast for approximate future events.

TradingView Chart

Storj is currently in Phase E of a Wyckoff Distribution Schematic #1. StockCharts says this about Phase E in their article on the Wyckoff Method:

Phase E depicts the unfolding of the downtrend; the stock leaves the TR and supply is in control. Once TR support is broken on a major SOW, this breakdown is often tested with a rally that fails at or near support. This also represents a high-probability opportunity to sell short. Subsequent rallies during the markdown are usually feeble. Traders who have taken short positions can trail their stops as price declines. After a significant down-move, climactic action may signal the beginning of a re-distribution TR or of accumulation.

The trading range for Storj was $1 – $1.12 and it has concretely fallen below that. From the picture below a major SOW has occurred, more so pointing to a Distribution occurring. This also coincides with our analyst’s Elliott Wave (EWT) view on Storj. They predict a small rally as Storj continues to fall in its Wave 2. The majority of the liquidity (per its relevant Volume Profile) is between the 38.2% and 61.8%  LFR at $0.56 and $0.76 respectively. A liquidity cluster is typically expected between these LFRs in EWT leading us to the think a Wave 2 correction is happening. Additionally, the cluster is in the price range of the subwave 4, an EWT guideline.

Storj (STORJ) – A Relatively Unheard Crypto – Leads Gainers With 30% Rally

The price of STORJ (pronounced “storage”) has increased by a little over 30 percent in the last 24 hours. According to CoinMarketCap, STORJ, an ETH token, is the 88th largest coin by market capitalization.

The token experienced a significant increase thanks to the NFT update on Friday. STORJ reached an all-time high of $0.97, a 43 percent rise from its 24-hour low.

Currently, the coin is selling at $0.9273, an increase of a remarkable 30.73 percent in the last 24 hours, according to statistics from CoinMarketCap. Additionally, its market capitalization soared from $245 million the day before to $371 million as of today.

STORJ is a platform for shared cloud storage. Instead of sending files to massive data centers, users can just store them in independent computers of the host.

STORJ Gets Strong Backing

Two requirements must be met to qualify as a host: a solid and speedy internet connection and terabytes of storage space. Users can make money by storing the files of others on their computers.

An announcement about major businesses embracing STORJ to store unique tickets, music, sports NFT assets, and gaming caused a sharp increase in the token’s price. Europa Labs, Amuzed, and Ultimate Division are the company’s newest NFT customers.
