Cardano Activity Sees New Life That Could Send ADA Price Soaring, Here Are The Targets

Cardano (ADA) has been stuck in a price rut recently, but behind the scenes, activity on the Cardano blockchain is exploding. Transaction volumes and wallet addresses are all growing, showing that interest and adoption of the network are growing rapidly. All this activity has prompted analysis of how far the crypto can spike in the near future.

Cardano On-Chain Activity Points To Future Price Growth

Cardano’s growth in development activity in recent months has rivaled other cryptocurrencies, putting it on the map among developers. Metrics show that there are currently 1,322 projects under development. Similarly, Plutus V2 scripts recently reached 18,821, and Plutus V1 scripts also stand at 6,536 to make a total of 25,357, indicating the growth of smart contracts.

These scripts are essential for deploying smart contracts on the Cardano chain and have seen a 76% growth from 14,379 scripts recorded on January 1.

At the same time, Cardano’s transaction count in the past two months has been something to boast about. The Cardano ADA network recently successfully completed 255,000 payments in 24 hours. Particularly, December and January saw Cardano process over 4 million transactions each month, showing the increasing network usage.

Active daily addresses have steadied above 30,000 since the beginning of the year, recently reaching 57,304 active addresses on February 4th. The total transaction count is now at 83.58 million. These metrics reflect the network’s ability to process a high number of transactions and its appeal to developers looking to build innovative crypto projects.

Price Targets Suggest ADA Could Reach $4 To $6 Long Term

Despite the gloomy price action in the past month, these metrics point to Cardano price sentiment changing to a more favorable one. As a result, analysts predict a bullish turnaround, with one even putting a $4 to $6 price target by 2026. This represents a 730% and 1140% growth from the current price level.

In a similar vein, crypto analyst Ali Martinez predicted a more bullish surge to $8 by January 2025, representing a 1558% surge from the current price level. Nevertheless, ADA has a lot of room to grow if Cardano can continue to attract developer and investor interest.

At the time of writing, Cardano is trading at $0.4825, with 44% of addresses still making a profit and 51% of addresses currently at a loss. While short-term volatility is likely and the road ahead still has obstacles, the long-term price outlook for ADA looks bright, and Cardano appears well positioned for future success in a wider crypto market bull run.

Crypto Analyst Says ADA Price Will Rise To $8, Here’s When

The ADA price action of late indicates that of strong support over the $0.488 price level, as the crypto continues to perform lackluster in the past month. However, according to crypto analyst Ali Martinez, Cardano’s current price performance is somewhat of a repeat of previous price action.

The analyst noted that Cardano’s price movement looks a lot like late 2020 before ADA went on a massive bull run. If history repeats itself, Cardano could be poised for another major rally that sends the price to $8.

ADA Price Chart Shows Similarities To Previous Consolidation

Cryptocurrencies are known to repeat previous price actions, giving analysts an idea of what to expect based on the outcome of the previous performance. Given this, a Cardano technical analysis shared on social media platform X by Ali Martinez looked at the crypto’s past performance.

To be more precise, the analyst noted that the current consolidation is a precursor for the bull rally that might come next. If the analysis turns out to hold, Martinez noted that ADA could consolidate until April 2024.

The last time this type of consolidation occurred, ADA would eventually break out and go on a 3,217% price surge over the next 287 days. A repeat of this phenomenon after the consolidation ends would see ADA surging close to an $8 price target in January 2025. This would represent a gain of over 1,760% from the current price level.

Current State Of Cardano

ADA’s price action points to the creation of lower highs since it reached a 2023 peak of $0.6655 on December 14, 2023. Particularly, the crypto recently got rejected around the $0.5241 price level, indicating the lack of strong buying momentum from the bulls.

On-chain data from IntoTheBlock shows that 45% of ADA addresses are currently making a profit, with the recent analysis pointing to this metric remaining the same at least until April. However, there is no guarantee ADA will follow Martinez’s predicted pattern or hit his $8 target as the crypto market is notoriously volatile and difficult to predict.

On the activity end of things, Cardano processed over 4 million transactions in December and January. There has also been a 67% growth in the implementation of smart contracts on the Cardano (ADA) network, according to recent reports

Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, asserted that the Cardano blockchain is significantly more advanced than Bitcoin in terms of development, layer-2 networks, and flexibility to accommodate developers on the blockchain.

Although Cardano is up by 2.62% in the past seven days, a larger 30-day timeframe shows the crypto down by 9.37%.

How To Buy, Sell, And Trade Crypto Tokens On The Cardano (ADA) Network

[toc]

The Cardano Network is a decentralized proof-of-stake blockchain platform with smart contract support and uses its own native token ADA, just like the Ethereum blockchain. Cardano is often described as the Ethereum killer. However, Cardano also considers itself the updated version of Ethereum, which is currently the king of all altcoins, including ADA.

Cardano (ADA) The Supposed Ethereum Killer

It has been said that Cardano has anointed itself as a third-generation crypto platform which it regards to Ethereum as the second generation. Cardano has deemed itself fit to be a threat or competitor to Ethereum as they are both similar in so many ways, including the fact that Cardano (ADA) was created by one of the co-founders of Ethereum, Charles Hoskinson.

As Ethereum is having a hard time with high gas fees issues and slow transaction times, Cardano is all set up to take their share and make a name for themselves in the NFT, DeFI, and Stablecoin market. Cardano aims to be scalable and low-cost for users compared to Ethereum, its major competitor.

It enables owners of their native token ADA to help operate the network and vote on changes to the software roles. A lot of developers now use the Cardano Blockchain for Smart contracts and building decentralized applications (dApps).

Cardano Continues To Evolve: Hard Forked From Byron To Shelley

Cardano has been releasing its blockchain in stages with the aim of releasing better, cleaner, and more secure codes. They continued to evolve as the Cardano blockchain hard forked from Byron, a federated and static model, to Shelley, a more dynamic and decentralized model

A hard fork means or is described as a radical change in the blockchain, but in the case of Cardano, The blockchain hard fork was unique because instead of the blockchain radical change, it ensured a smooth transition from the old protocol to a new protocol while saving the history of the previous blocks. This means the Cardano blockchain contains the Byron blocks and after a certain transaction period, it adds the Shelley blocks.

Shelley was upgraded, and the Shelley protocol upgrade added a new feature that enabled different kinds of Smart contract use cases, which included the creation and transactions with multi-asset tokens. It also established support for the Voltaire voting mechanism. The Shelley protocol hard fork upgrade of March 2021 called “Mary” introduced native token and multi-asset support on the Cardano Blockchain.

Mary allows users to create their own tokens that run on the Cardano network natively, just like Cardano’s native token ADA. Similar to the ERC20 tokens that can be created and transacted on the Ethereum network, Native tokens will open up this same functionality to Cardano.

How Does Cardano (ADA) Work?

The Cardano (ADA) Blockchain is made up of two main components, which are the Cardano Computational Layer (CCL) and the Cardano Settlement Layer (CSL).

The Cardano Computational Layer (CCL):

The Cardano Computational Layer (CCL) consist of the Ouroboros consensus protocol and Proof of stake, which are the backbone of the Cardano blockchain. They help to run smart contracts, it also ensures compliance and security. Lastly, allow other key advanced features and functionalities such as identity recognition and blacklisting.

The Cardano Settlement Layer (CSL):

The Cardano Settlement Layer (CSL) serves as the accounting layer of the Cardano blockchain where its native token holders can send and receive their ADA immediately with minimal transaction fees.

Blockchain Industry Issues Cardano Aims To Solve

  • To create a secure voting mechanism for token holders.
  • To Separate accounting and computation layers.
  • To create an infinitely scalable consensus mechanism.
  • To use mathematics to provide a provably secure blockchain that is less susceptible to attacks.

Benefits And Advantages of Cardano (ADA) Blockchain

Decentralization: The Cardano network is designed to promote decentralization, and the founder of ADA Charles Hoskinson, is confident that the network would be 50 to 100 times more decentralized than Bitcoin.

High scalability: The recent Cardano Blockchain Vasil hard fork solves scalability issues as it introduced critical updates that streamline transaction processing, ultimately increasing the transactions per second (tps) Cardano’s blockchain can handle to significantly boost transaction processing speeds, unlike Ethereum.

Multilayer security measures: Cardano has a multilayer architecture that separates the computation layer from the accounting layer and also the Ouroboros proof of stake algorithm reduces the surface attack and ensures good security without falling short on decentralization.

Low gas fees: Unlike Ethereum, Cardano has low transaction or gas fees which makes it more appealing to users and developers.

Environmentally friendly ecosystem: Cardano is designed to be accessible to all persons, no matter their level of skill, from novices to advanced users.

Strong Community: A project is as strong as its community and Cardano has a strong community of active users, developers, researchers, and founders all work together to make the project a very good one.

Cardano Defies Bear Market As Smart Contracts Count Sees 10,000 Explosion

The Cardano network continues to defy expectations and prove its doubters wrong. This time, the network has hit a new milestone, which suggests that users are indeed taking advantage of its smart contract functionality

Cardano Sees Significant Increase In Smart Contract Usage

Data from Cardano Blockchain Insights has revealed an increase in the usage of Cardano’s Plutus V1 and V2 scripts. As of January 22, 24,050 smart contracts had been executed using these Plutus scripts. This is impressive, considering that this figure stood at 14,379 at the beginning of this year.

This recent increase can be traced back to January 9, when smart contract usage on the network really began to pick up. Specifically, the number of smart contracts executed on Cardano using the Plutus V2 scripts rose from 8,270 to 12,890 on that day. Since then, that figure has skyrocketed to 17,718.

As expected, the Plutus v2 script is more widely used than its V1 counterpart, considering that the former is a newer generation of Cardano’s smart contract scripting language. Cardano introduced Plutus V2 to reduce user costs and enhance script throughput effectively. Meanwhile, this development no doubt further proves naysayers wrong.

A recent report by crypto research firm K33 boldly asserted that there was no “proof of Cardano being used for anything.” K33 further suggested that a “group of bagholders” were the ones simply fabricating a majority of transactions on the network, and nothing meaningful was going on Cardano.

Cardano’s Utility Good For ADA’s Price

Dan Gambardello, the founder of Crypto Capital Venture, once highlighted how the Cardano network had improved since the last bull run. The network’s smart contract functionality was among the features he alluded to as undergoing a significant upgrade since then. Notably, these improvements form part of why he believes that ADA could rise to $11 in the next bull run.

These improvements have indeed contributed to the ecosystem’s resurgence. Last year, the network saw a significant rise in its DeFi activity, and although there has been a decline recently, things are expected to pick back up soon enough. The network’s development activity also looks to be paying off, as Gambardello recently revealed that there is now Social Finance (SocialFI) on Cardano.

Members of the Cardano community will hope that a fiat-backed stablecoin can finally be introduced on the network. The introduction of a stablecoin is believed to be another factor that could help increase Cardano’s utility. This could also cause an inflow of new money into the ecosystem, something which could positively impact ADA’s price

Analyst Predicts Cardano Future Using Historic Trends, And It’s Very Bullish

A crypto analyst has provided insights into why this year will be “massive” for Cardano (ADA) based on historical data. The analyst also highlighted how patience was key, as ADA could replicate a similar run like the one it did when it saw a gain of 8,288% following about two years of consolidation.

2024 Could Be Another Breakout Year For Cardano

In a recent video, the analyst behind the Crypto ZX YouTube channel alluded to ADA’s history as he provided a bullish narrative for the crypto token in this new year. He spoke about how Cardano launched at the peak of the 2018 bull market but didn’t make any significant gains until two years later.

ADA is said to have broken below the $0.11 support months after its launch and ranged within that time frame from around August 2018 to June 2020. After that, things began to pick up for the crypto token as it went up by 8,288% on its way to hitting its all-time of $3 in 2021.

Based on this, the analyst urged ADA investors to be patient as he expects ADA to break out anytime soon and enjoy a parabolic move. He warned these investors against being like those who currently have regrets about not holding when ADA was at its lowest, considering that some of those who held made millions.

Cardano price chart from Tradingview.com

One Last Chance To Accumulate Before The Next Bull Run

The Crypto ZX analyst mentioned that the bear market cycle ends at the 78.6 Fibonacci retracement level. However, he noted that ADA is currently struggling to break that level as the selling pressure around that range is huge, and there is not enough demand for ADA. Going by previous cycles, he stated that “explosions” could come by May or June.

In his opinion, though, he believes that Cardano could get to that Fibonacci level before those months. However, he doesn’t expect “massive moves” until May at least. With this in mind and the fact that there could be another “shake-off” before Bitcoin Halving, the analyst believes this is a great opportunity to accumulate as many ADA tokens as possible.

Meanwhile, the “exciting times” will be in the third and fourth quarter of the year, as that is where this crypto analyst is personally targeting (possibly to take profits). He also predicted that this bull market would be the biggest of all time as he believes that other cryptocurrencies, including Cardano, could get their Spot ETF

At the time of writing, ADA is trading at around $0.532, down in the last 24 hours, according to data from CoinMarketCap.

Is Cardano The Next Solana? Institutional Investors Clamor For ADA Exposure

Crypto asset investment products started the year on a positive note, with Cardano making a comeback despite going on a price decline last week. According to the latest digital asset fund flow from CoinShares, crypto products saw total inflows of $151 million in the first week of 2024.

Unsurprisingly, a larger part of this inflow went into Bitcoin, with Ethereum closely following behind. However, Cardano products also picked up steam during the week, attracting notable inflows compared to other altcoins.

Cardano Attracting Institutional Altcoin Investors

Institutional investors poured a notable $3.7 million into Cardano-based investment products last week, far greater than its average in 2023. Aside from Ethereum, which received a $29.6 million net inflow, Cardano saw the most inflow among altcoins, followed by Avalanche with $2 million.

Litecoin and XRP also saw modest inflows of $1.3 million and $0.9 million respectively, while multi-asset products received a net inflow of $5.4 million.

It would seem most of the attention Solana received in 2023 was diverted into Cardano in the week. According to previous weekly reports, Solana frequently saw the most weekly inflow in the last quarter of 2023, even surpassing Bitcoin and Ethereum at some point.

However, it would seem this sentiment failed to show itself in the first week of the year, as data from CoinShares showed Solana registered a net flow of $5.3 million. Similarly, Short Bitcoin products saw a net outflow of $1 million, pushing its total outflows over the last nine weeks to $7 million.

As stated earlier, Bitcoin received the most inflows. Bitcoin started the year with a weekly net inflow of $113 million, and inflows over the last nine weeks representing 3.2% of assets under management. Blockchain equities have also had a good start to the year, seeing US$24m inflows over the last week.

In terms of geographical location, the US saw the most activity. Exchanges in the country saw a weekly net inflow of $83 billion, representing 55% of the total inflow. Germany and Switzerland followed with $32.5 million and $24.9 respectively, representing 21% and 17% of the total inflow.

What’s Next For ADA?

The report from Coinshares attributes the inflow to proponents of spot Bitcoin ETFs who continue to push a bullish sentiment for the cryptocurrency pending approval in the US. Now that these ETFs have been approved, it is up to the market to determine what they bring to the table.

Cardano has also largely benefited from a steady growth in its ecosystem, development activity, and in DeFi. At the time of writing, Cardano (ADA) is trading at $0.5926. The crypto has outperformed most large market cap altcoins in the past 24 hours and is up by 15.55% in the timeframe. According to various predictions, Cardano (ADA) is set for a surge in 2024 with one analyst forecasting a price target of $6.

Cardano Price Explosion: Crypto Analyst Predicts ADA Price To Hit $6

Crypto analyst Ali Martinez has predicted an outstanding long-term price for Cardano (ADA), although subject to some downside before the target is reached. The Cardano (ADA) price is currently declining, down by 4.2% in the past 24 hours and 16.7% in a larger timeframe. The crypto did manage to turn bullish for a few hours yesterday, jumping 14.6% from a low of $0.4727 to $0.5421.

Most of this price gain has been shed off and the crypto is now trading at $0.5079, confirming an ongoing consolidation. However, according to crypto analyst Ali Martinez, Cardano’s current consolidation mirrors that of its 2018-2020 phase, which is preparing the groundwork for a strong bull run.

ADA Mirroring Its Past Performance

Cryptocurrencies are known to repeat previous price actions, giving analysts an idea of what to expect based on the outcome of the previous performance. In this vein, a Cardano technical analysis shared on social media platform X by Ali Martinez indicated that ADA’s current consolidation is reminiscent of ADA’s price action whose breakout led to a 2,980% price surge.

According to the weekly timeframe chart shared by Martinez, ADA consolidated for 665 days between 2018 to 2020 before going on a price surge to reach $3.058, its current all-time high. If a repeat of this pattern were to successfully play out, we might see ADA continue to consolidate around this level until April. Consequently, a repeat of a 2,980% price surge from the current price would put a price target around $15.

Current State Of Cardano

Cardano went through a price surge in the last quarter of 2023, mirroring a surge in July 2020. As a result, ADA recorded a 173% gain from $0.2435 in October to a yearly high of $0.6655 in December. However, the crypto has been on a decline since then. A recent larger decline among altcoins has also contributed to a further price decline.

On-chain data from IntoTheBlock shows that 47.45% of ADA addresses are currently making a profit. Notably, an interpretation of Martinez’s technical analysis of Cardano points to this number stalling at least until April. For long-term believers in ADA, the current consolidation is an opportunity to increase their holdings for the next bull run.

Cardano still remains one of the most actively developed blockchain ecosystems, and a new report shows that development activity has outpaced that of Ethereum and Avalanche in the past 30 days.

A continuation of this growth coupled with a few other bullish market factors like the potential approval of Spot Bitcoin ETFs in the US could lead to ADA going on a sustained price surge before April.

Crypto Analyst Predicts Dramatic Rise In Cardano (ADA) Price, Here’s The Target

Crypto analyst Guy Turner has predicted that Cardano (ADA) could experience a significant price surge soon enough. The analyst also gave an insight into what price levels the crypto token could hit when this happens.

Cardano To Rise To $1

In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Turner mentioned that ADA could rally to as high as $1 as that is the next significant level of resistance. The analyst’s projection is based on the fact that ADA’s weekly chart suggests that the crypto token is in the process of painting a bull flag

A rise to $1 doesn’t seem impressive to the analyst as he alluded to SOL’s price, which has seen incredible gains from its past lows. The crypto analyst highlighted Cardano’s fundamentals as one reason why it has continued to underperform. According to him, the supply of the token seems to be outweighing the demand for it.

He also singled out Cardano’s founding entities, IOG, EMURGO, and the Cardano Foundation, for contributing to a lot of sell pressure for the crypto token. These organizations are said to be selling a huge chunk of their ADA holdings to fund their operations. The silver lining is that this supply and demand dynamics doesn’t look to have impacted ADA’s price too much, Turner said.

Meanwhile, he sounded bullish on Cardano in the long term as he noted that the interest rates, which have had more impact on ADA’s price, are likely to keep declining. As such, the crypto analyst believes that the crypto token could continue to rally alongside the rest of the broader crypto market despite its poor fundamentals.

Will ADA Hit New All-Time Highs This Year?

Turner further stated that whether or not ADA will hit new all-time highs this year will depend on its upcoming milestones. One of them happens to be the CIP 1694, a proposal that has been in focus in the Cardano ecosystem over the last year. Having been voted upon and passed, the CIP 1694 is set to be implemented with the Chang Hard Fork set to take place early this year.

Another milestone, which Turner considers the most important of them all, is the likely introduction of Cardano’s first fiat-backed stablecoin this year. IOG is said to be working on their stablecoin project, which could be released soon enough. Mehen Stablecoin’s USDM, which Turner referenced in his video, is also billed to launch in the first quarter of this year.

Following the release of Turner’s video, Mehen provided further updates on the USDM launch. They stated that the stablecoin is currently at the final stage of the audit. Once that is done, they plan to announce a final launch date.

The introduction of Cardano fiat-backed stablecoin is an important milestone as it can further boost the DeFi landscape on the network. The crypto analyst highlighted that it is “very difficult” to grow decentralized applications (dApps) on the network without the help of liquid fiat stablecoins.

Crypto Analyst Predicts Cardano Price Jump In January – Here’s The Target

Most cryptocurrencies such as Cardano (ADA) currently going through a consolidation period after weeks of intense price growth in December. Data from Coinmarketcap shows the big cryptos posting declines in a seven-day timeframe, with some even plunging by double digits

Cardano hasn’t been left out, as it is currently down by 9.20% and 15.3% in the past 24 hours and seven days respectively. However, according to one crypto analyst, Cardano (ADA) could be gearing up for a 30-40% price surge that sends the token well past $0.80 this month.

Cardano Consolidating After Price Surge

Cardano has been on a nice price surge, reaching a peak of 170% price gain in the last quarter of 2023. At the time of writing, the crypto is still up by 35% in the past 30 days despite the ongoing consolidation. According to a technical analysis shared by crypto analyst Captain Faibik on social media, Cardano is currently in a bullish pennant formation on the daily timeframe.

Bullish pennant patterns are formed after an uptrend and indicate a continuation of the upward trend during a consolidation. For Cardano, the pole was a 77% price rally from $0.3759 to $0.6655 in the first two weeks of December.

It then traded in increasingly higher lows and lower highs, creating the pennant shape. If the pennant pattern holds, the analyst envisions a bullish breakout which would lead to a 30% to 40% bullish rally to the $0.8 price level.

What’s Next For ADA Price?

Cardano is currently trading at $0.5567 with a 115% increase in 24-hour trading volume. Several indicators point to the cryptocurrency going on a price growth this year, along with the entire crypto industry.

For one, IntoTheBlock’s Network Value to Transaction (NVT) ratio of 3.09 suggests that the Cardano chain is currently undergoing high network transaction value against its market cap, which is often a bullish sign.

In fact, the surge in December and the current consolidation in early January are still in line with a prediction by crypto analyst Ali Martinez last year, who used historical data to predict a 2,300% surge to $6.

Once Cardano’s price pushes above $0.64 with strong volume, that will confirm the uptrend is ready to continue. On the other hand, if Cardano were to turn the support level of $0.55 level into a resistance barrier on the daily timeframe, it could denote weakness from the bulls which would negate the bullish sentiment in the short term. In such a case, we could see Cardano’s price continue to decline to the $0.5 level.

Crypto Pundit Says Cardano Rivals XRP Community, But Why Is ADA Price Struggling?

Cardano has consistently remained one of the largest cryptocurrencies in the industry with the price of its native ADA coin following the crypto market rally. However, it has not performed as well as other cryptocurrencies despite its marked popularity among investors. Given this, crypto pundit Ben Armstrong, popularly known as BitBoy, has shared his views on why the network is struggling.

Cardano Struggles Through Misinformation

One of the problems that the crypto analyst mentioned that Cardano has run into over the years is the fact that there has been misinformation. A lot of times, Cardano has been subject to FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) especially when it comes to its decentralized finance (DeFi) capabilities.

The network is really playing catch-up when it comes to DeFi as the likes of Ethereum and Solana enabled this ability years before Cardano. However, the network has seen significant growth since it first announced smart contract capabilities back in 2021.

Armstrong explains that a lot of FUD have also been directed at the founder Charles Hoskinson whose involvement with Ethereum as one of the co-founders in the early days is often called into question. But contrary to popular belief, the analyst believes that Hoskinson’s involvement with Ethereum actually helps to boost the credibility of the Cardano network.

Hoskinson has also been subject to allegations of being a scammer, as well as the Cardano network being “finished,” among other interesting allegations, as well as its native ADA token being referred to as a stablecoin. The last part takes a jab at the fact that the ADA price has not moved much in the last year.

However, Armstrong explains that Cardano boasts one of the most decentralized token distributions in the entire crypto industry. “Currently, over 60% of the supply is staked and during the bull market, the number was well over 70% on a regular basis,” he stated. This makes the coin an attractive choice for investors.

ADA Community Similar To XRP Community

Armstrong has been vocal about his support for the XRP community which he believes is the strongest community in crypto. Then coming up behind the XRP community, the crypto analyst believes that the Cardano community is the second-strongest in the industry.

In addition to this, Armstrong calls ADA “one of the most consistent performing coins in the history of crypto.” ADA, on its own, has managed to perform incredibly well in each bull market since its inception. During the 2020-2021 bull market, the ADA price would go from around $0.02 to over $3 before correcting back downward.

Presently, the ADA price is trending at $0.61, rising approximately 143% in the last year alone. With a market cap of $21.7 billion, it is currently the eighth-largest cryptocurrency by market cap.

Machine Learning Algorithm Predicts When Cardano Price Will Hit New $6.5 ATH

The machine learning algorithm at CoinCodex has predicted when the Cardano price will reach a new all-time high. The coin which has been performing quite well in the last few weeks is still miles away from its current all-time high of $3.1. However, the machine learning algorithm has revealed when it will cross this level once more.

Cardano Price Will Hit $6.5

According to the CoinCodex machine learning algorithm, the Cardano price may be locked into years of performing below its 2021 all-time high prices before finally revisiting It around five years from now. Apparently, while the next few years will see the price jump another 200% from its current price, breaking above $3.1 will remain elusive.

The year 2024 which is expected to be the start of another crypto bull market will reportedly see ADA only rise as high as $2.98, falling just short of its previous all-time high. Then in the years 2025 and 2026, its max performance is pegged even lower with $2.42 in 2025 and $0.8 in 2026.

The year 2027 is expected to follow the same trend as 2026 with a min value of $0.5 and a maximum value of $0.86. However, in 2028, this is expected to completely change to the point where the ADA price will reach a brand-new all-time high.

Cardano’s max price for the year 2028 is said to be $6.52 by the machine learning algorithm with a minimum price of $0.73. Then in the following year of 2029, it expects a minimum value of $1.1 and a max value of $4.99. Finally, the year 2030 is placed at a minimum of $0.65 and a maximum of $1.36.

ADA Sees Bullishness Across The Board

Contrary to the CoinCodex machine learning algorithm saying that the Cardano price will not reach a new all-time high until the year 2028, crypto analysts have come forward with their own bullish predictions. One analyst Psyclops expects the price to climb to $10 amid the rapid growth that is being recorded in the Cardano ecosystem.

Another crypto analyst known as Crypto Crow says that they expect the price to reach $32. The time frame from this analyst is that they expect this to happen in the next bull market and since the next bull market is expected to take place between 2024 and 2025, it gives it a two-year timeframe.

Finally, crypto analyst Dan Gambardello has predicted that the Cardano price will reach $11. His reasoning lies with the past performance of the digital asset which has performed very well in each bull market. Gambardello expects that if ADA sticks to historical performance, then the market cap of the altcoin will climb to $400 billion by the year 2025.

Crypto Expert Says Cardano Will Rise To $32 As Most Valuable Altcoin In The Bull Run, Here’s Why

Crypto expert Jason Appleton, better known as Crypto Crow in the crypto community, has provided an in-depth analysis of the Cardano (ADA) ecosystem. Based on his analysis, he predicts that the crypto token could hit unprecedented heights as he asserted his bullishness on ADA going into the bull market

Cardano Will Rise To $32

In a post shared on his X (formerly Twitter), Crypto Crow explained in an accompanying video why he believes ADA will rise to $32 in the bull market. According to him, this price level is attainable in the “most prime of conditions by the peak of this bull market cycle.” He also believes that the crypto token could be one of the most valuable altcoins in that period.

In the video that accompanied his post, Crypto Crow drew out a hypothetical scenario to drive home his point of ADA hitting $32. In his scenario, ADA could hit this price level if Bitcoin were to achieve a $10 trillion market cap, as he projects that this would put ADA’s own at $400 billion. Meanwhile, he believes that ADA’s dominance could rise to as high as 4% in that period.

For his more conservative prediction, he foresees ADA hitting at least $16 in the next bull cycle. Based on his hypothetical scenario, this would happen if Bitcoin were to hit a market cap of $5 trillion, as this would put ADA’s own market cap at $200 billion.

The crypto expert also referred to the charts to show why he is so bullish on ADA. He noted that ADA is already performing better based on historical patterns, as he alluded to 2017 in particular. In the relatively short term, Crypto Crow sees ADA hitting $10 by August 2024, as he highlighted the Bitcoin Halving as a major factor in this regard.

Cardano’s DeFi Landscape Could Be The Trigger

Dan Gambardello, the founder of Crypto Capital Venture, had previously highlighted how Cardano’s growing DeFi landscape important was. He noted that it would be one of the factors that would propel ADA’s price to significant heights in the next bull run. This is a real possibility, as Cardano has seen impressive growth in this regard.

Data from DeFiLlama shows that the Total Value Locked (TVL) on the network has been on a steady rise since the beginning of the year. It recently hit an all-time high (ATH) of $444 million. At the time of writing, the TVL on the network stands at just over $429 million.

Crypto analyst Psyclops also factored this into mind when he recently suggested that ADA could rise to as high as $10. He highlighted the fact the network undoubtedly has more utility than when the last bull run occurred. One of these use cases, which he alluded to, is the “massive DeFi” that Cardano now has.

Crypto Analyst Predicts Cardano (ADA) Price Will Rise 1700% To $11, Gives Reasons Why

Popular crypto analyst Dan Gambardello recently dropped a very bullish prediction for the Cardano (ADA) price. This analyst claims ADA is poised to surge to $11 in the next extended bull cycle, an incredible 1700% gain from its current price level.

Unlike many, the analyst didn’t just pull that prediction out of thin air. According to him, the prediction was solely based on ADA’s historical data and past actions.

Prediction Based on Historical Price Analysis

Cardano has had one of the best price gains among major altcoins this year. This price spike has brought in predictions from various analysts, with some predicting very bullish price points than others. According to a video shared by Gambardello, if history repeats itself, ADA could spike to a market cap of $400 billion by 2025.

How did he come by this number? Well, data has shown that the price of Cardano (ADA) has always correlated with Ethereum’s (ETH) past actions. A weekly timeframe chart shared by the analyst in a video on social media platform X showed that the last bull run in 2021 which saw ADA reach its current all-time high of $3.10 was a mirror of ETH’s performance in 2017. During the bull run in 2021, ADA spiked to a total market cap of $93 billion, a 75% correlation with ETH’s $123 billion at the 2017 peak.

It’s important to note that at this first stage, both Ethereum and Cardano weren’t well known for their DeFi capability. Now, it looks like ADA is getting ready to enter the 2021 Ethereum first DeFi bull cycle phase where it peaked at a market cap of $546 billion.

Cardano’s blockchain has grown since the first stage, with the network now one of the fastest-growing in terms of DeFi and smart contracts. If this cycle is consistent with the previous one, a 75% performance of ETH’s market cap peak will put that of ADA at $409 billion by 2025. At this point, ADA could speculatively be at a 4% total crypto market dominance and peak over $11.

Cardano (ADA) price chart from Tradingview.com (Crypto analyst)

Gambardello correctly predicted ADA’s all-time high of over $3 in June 2020, one year before the crypto reached this price point. The analyst also noted another scenario where the spike doesn’t mirror 75% of Ethereum’s DeFi cycle. According to him, a lesser market cap of $350 billion would put ADA at $10, way higher than its current all-time high.

Current State Of Cardano

ADA is currently on a 13.81% gain in the past 24 hours, boosted by a $1.5 billion increase in whale transactions. The crypto shot through to $0.6776, registering a new yearly high. At the time of writing, ADA is trading at $0.6527, a 73% increase from its December open of $0.376.

According to another social media post by Dan Gambardello, Cardano is now at a decision point between a continued increase to $0.75 and a retrace to $0.41.

Crypto Analyst Predicts Cardano Price Will Rise 6000% To $33, Here’s The Timeline

Crypto analyst Tyler Strejilevich has speculated what could be another tremendous bullish run for Cardano (ADA). Cardano has already done a 132% gain for its holders since the beginning of the year, but according to a discovery by this analyst, the token might just be getting started. In fact, if Strejilevich is right, ADA could skyrocket by an incredible 6000% from today’s price to $33 in the next year.

Crypto Analyst Tyler Strejilevich Spots Bullish Signal For Cardano

Crypto analyst Tyler Strejilevich made his discovery known in a post on the social media platform X. In the post, he noted how ADA is currently at a similar crossroads which it found itself in July 2020.

Using his analysis of the ADA price chart he shared, Strejilevich noted how the token is now at a bullish cross on moving averages on the weekly timeframe. The last time this happened, ADA went on to form many consecutive bullish candles, going from $0.041 to its current all-time high of $3.09 in 66 weeks.

A repeat would see Cardano reaching $33 by January 2025. A less optimistic prediction by Changelly puts a $1 prediction by the end of 2025.

The bullish crossover is yet to happen, and the token still has a few weeks to see how this would play out. Of course, in the volatile world of cryptocurrencies, there’s no guarantee the price will move as predicted. Nevertheless, Cardano is poised for a major rally that could extend into the coming year.

Current Bullish Performance Of ADA

Network activity, increase in DeFi TVL, and other factors point to Cardano continuing on its current bull run. It’s important to note that the last time Cardano went on this 6000% price gain, its blockchain network was still behind on smart contract functionality. However, the network has changed since then, with Cardano now one of the fastest-growing blockchains in terms of smart contracts.

Cardano is currently trading at $0.5754, up by 48.43% in a 7-day timeframe amidst a larger crypto market green week. The crypto briefly touched the $0.6 level on December 9, reaching $0.6323 for the first time this year. It has now formed a minor support at $0.53 and is on its way to revisiting $0.6.

On the other hand, the total crypto market cap has dropped by 5.75% in the past 24 hours, as Bitcoin inflows slowed down. According to a chart shared by crypto analyst Ali Martinez, Bitcoin miners have sold around 1,000 BTC worth $44 million since Friday. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is down by 0.5% in the past 24 hours and 6% from its yearly high of $44,500.

Blast Surpasses Cardano And Base – Here’s How Much DeFi Investors Have Locked

Blast is the latest Layer 2 network to burst into the scene in the last week and has taken the decentralized finance (DeFi) world by storm already. This network which seemingly came out of nowhere has backing from Paradigm, and as its popularity has risen, it has surpassed Base and Cardano’s Total Value Locked (TVL) in less than a week after launch.

Blast TVL Crosses $565 Million

The Blast network was officially announced on November 21 and it quickly garnered support from crypto investors. In the first day, the network saw over $81 million in crypto locked. And in two days, the figure had quickly grown above $123 million.

Despite some of the FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) that has followed the launch of the network, investors have continued to bridge their assorted into it. By Sunday, November 26, the total value locked on the Blast network had officially crossed $544 million, according to data from DeFi tracker DeFiLlama.

This figure puts the network’s TVL ahead of older competitors such as Coinbase’s Base. While Blast’s TVL sits at $544 million, the Base TVL is at $338.26 million. This means that Blast’s TVL is currently 60% higher than that of Base.

In the same vein, the Blast TVL is also way ahead of that of Cardano. Presently, the Cardano TVL sits at around $330.07 million, just a little lower than Base, and around 61% lower than that of Blast.

New L2 Draws Criticism From DeFi Investors

Amid the rapid growth that Blast has enjoyed, it has also drawn criticism from DeFi investors. The concerns have ranged from security to how the network is being run. One of the most pertinent criticisms has stemmed from the fact that all of the crypto being bridged to the network will be locked until next year.

The network revealed that investors will not be able to access their locked funds until February 2024. In addition, Blast promises users yield on their Ethereum (ETH) and stablecoins being bridged to the network, but with no readily discernible way of how this yield will be earned.

Some members of the crypto community have, however, figured out that the funds were being deposited into the Lido DAO protocol. Apparently, Blast is currently earning around $1.5 million a month by depositing the bridged funds into Lido. This has further raised concerns about the growing dominance of Lido, which is headed toward 33.3% and could pose a risk for the Ethereum network.

Nevertheless, Blast continues to dominate conversations around DeFi on social media. There is now a total of 266,130 ETH locked on the network, with the expectations of an airdrop happening in 2024.

Cardano Forecast: Crypto Analyst Identifies The Event That Could Send ADA Price To $11

Dan Gambardello, the founder of Crypto Capital Venture, has provided some insights into the future trajectory of Cardano (ADA). Interestingly, he hints that the crypto token could reach unprecedented heights that will change the lives of Cardano holders

When ADA Price Will Rise To $11

In a video shared on YouTube, Gambardello sounded bullish about the future of ADA as the crypto industry awaits the next bull run. According to him, this is when ADA will rise to as high as $11 at a market cap of $400 billion market cap then. He hinted that this bull run is likely to happen after the next Bitcoin Halving event.

The crypto founder also noted how the decentralized finance (DeFi) landscape on the Cardano network has grown since the last bull run. As such, he expects that this “new ecosystem” powered by Shelley and innovations like the multi-asset ledger, positions the token for significant growth in the next bull run. Shelley is the Cardano era, which focused on making the network a decentralized economic system.

Basically, Gambardello was alluding to the fact that Cardano has gotten better since the last bull run and now provides more utility to its users. To highlight ADA’s potential, he stated how the token rose from about $0.12 to $3 during the last bull run without having any of these “developmental milestones” in place. Therefore, a rise to $11 is feasible with the immense utility in place now.

The Cardano-Ethereum Comparison

Gambardello drew a comparison between Cardano and Ethereum. He went as far as asserting that the former was more sound, secure, and decentralized. Despite his assertion, he recognizes the fact Cardano is like a cycle behind Ethereum. In line with this, he expects that Cardano’s success is going to be similar to the one Ethereum enjoyed when it first established its DeFi ecosystem.

The crypto analyst also mentioned how undervalued Cardano is while making a comparison between it and Ethereum. In his opinion, Cardano has everything something like Ethereum has but better. He also believes that the innovations on the Cardano network are happening in a more secure and decentralized way compared to its counterparts. C

While Gambardello seems to think that ADA will perform so well in the next bull run, another crypto analyst will beg to differ. This crypto analyst happens to be Lady of Crypto, who once outlined five reasons why she doesn’t believe ADA will perform well during that period. Interestingly, she stated that Cardano has a slow development pace, and that is one of the reasons it won’t thrive.

Cardano Falling Wedge Pattern: Analyst Predicts 100% Increase Following Breakout

Cardano may not be a top gainer in the crypto market but that does not mean that it has fallen behind. During the altcoin rally, the price of Cardano’s native coin ADA has gone from a low of $0.25 to a high of almost $0.4 before correcting back downwards. This positive trend has been preserved even through the crypto market dip and it seems that there is only one thing in the way of Cardano’s rise to a new yearly high.

Falling Wedge Pattern Holds Back Cardano

According to a crypto analyst on the TradingView website, the one thing that is holding back the Cardano price from mounting a full-blown rally is a falling wedge pattern which it is currently stuck in. This falling wedge pattern has appeared as the ADA price has retraced and then eventually recovered.

The crypto analyst who goes by CobraVanguard identifies this falling wedge pattern as the important pattern to break for ADA. As with any cryptocurrency, if ADA is able to break out of this pattern, then a massive rally could follow, ending in a high peak.

CobraVanguard’s price target after breaking out of this falling wedge pattern is over the $0.7 level. Following this trend would mean that the ADA price could rise another 100% from its current level, putting it on a recovery path similar to that of Solana (SOL).

The initial target for this recovery is at $0.57 where a small retrace is expected. Afterward, the crypto analyst sees another surge that takes it straight through the $0.78 mark. Then just below $0.8 is where resistance is expected.

ADA Whales Ramping Up Their Activity

As the bull case for Cardano continues, the ADA whales are not being left in the sidelines. As data from IntoTheBlock shows, these large investors have been increasing their activities across the network, especially in the last day.

The number of large transactions on the Cardano network, that is transactions carrying $100,000 or more, jumped significantly in the 24-hour period. November 15 numbers came out to 4,320 whereas this number grew to 6,110 on November 16.

Naturally, the transaction volumes of these large investors are also up during this time. It rose from around $7.2 billion on Wednesday to more than $10.46 billion on Thursday, with more than 27.2 billion ADA moved across these transactions.

These trends among these large investors could suggest that the anticipation for a bullish run isn’t localized to just smaller investors alone. So whales could be waiting for better prices before they begin profit-taking.
